I teach piano, guitar (acoustic and electric), bass, and music theory. I am located in Belfast, BT6. Lessons are relaxed and friendly. I will teach you to play the music you want to play.

Adults (beginners to advanced) are welcome. I have students as young as six and a comfortable chair is provided for parents!

I am with The Associate Board of the Royal Schools of Music. I can help you choose which music exams to go for, and take you through the study and practice.

Alternatively, We can work from CDs, iPod, sheet music, or tabs of your favourite music. 

About Me

I have been teaching music professionally for ten years.

I have also been teaching philosophy for twenty years at Q.U.B. 

I have an MA in Music Composition and my compositions (for flute, clarinet, piano, trumpet, string quartet etc) have been played by internationally renowned musicians.

For the thirty years I have composed, performed and recorded in many different bands and for commercial and artistic projects of every kind. I have written music for the theatre, and art installation. I play piano, keyboards, guitar and bass. Currently, I perform Piano Solo and in Jazz combos. I also play in an original rock band.
